From Montreal, it's approximately 1.5-2 hours by car. GPS: 45.5°N, 71.0°W. Paved road all the way to the campground entrance. RV-friendly access road with clearance for large units. Check-in at the gatehouse upon arrival.
Stationnement et accès
Each site includes one vehicle parking space. Overflow lot available near the entrance. RV dump station and water fill available on site. $5-12 vehicle parking fee may apply.

Open season: May - September. June-August: Peak season with warmest weather, but expect full campgrounds — reserve well in advance. Bugs can be intense in June — bring repellent and a bug net. September: Arguably the best month — cooler temperatures, fewer bugs, stunning fall colours (especially in the hardwood forests), and thinner crowds. May and October: Shoulder season — sites are available without reservations but nights can be cold (near or below freezing).

The campground sits within Laurentian Mountains, St. Lawrence Valley, boreal shield terrain. Sites are on relatively flat, forested ground with natural screening between neighbours. Rocky ground in places — bring a footprint for your tent. Nearby trails range from easy lakeside walks to moderate ridge hikes. Elevation: 200-400m above sea level.
Réglements et permis
First-come, first-served sites available, but reservations recommended for peak season. Campfires: Permitted in designated fire pits only. Fire bans may be in effect during dry periods — check before your trip. Store food securely to avoid attracting wildlife. Pack out all garbage — Leave No Trace principles apply. Dogs must be on leash at all times.
