Fernie Alpine Resort is a world-renowned downhill skiing destination in British Columbia. With a vertical drop of 860m, it offers 142 runs, skier's mountain, powder magnet against the stunning backdrop of the coastal rainforest, Rocky Mountains, interior plateau.



The resort caters to all ability levels with a good mix of beginner, intermediate, and expert terrain. Annual snowfall regularly exceeds 10 metres, ensuring a long and reliable season. Fernie Alpine Resort is the kind of place that turns a ski trip into a lifelong obsession.

Large paved parking lots at the base area — free on weekdays, $10-20 on peak weekends. Overflow parking with shuttle service on busy days. RV overnight parking available with advance booking.

Season: November - April. January-February: Core season with the most reliable snow. March: Spring skiing at its finest — warm sun, soft snow, and après vibes. Some of the best powder days happen in March storms.

Terrain et topographie

Vertical drop: 860m. The mountain features a mix of groomed runs, glades, bowls, and alpine terrain. Alpine bowls above treeline offer exposed, wind-affected skiing. The terrain park has features for all levels. Aspect: Multiple aspects mean you can find good conditions throughout the day. Base elevation: 1,500-2,500m.

Lift tickets or season passes required. Book online for best rates. Respect all signage — closed areas are closed for safety reasons. Poaching closed terrain can result in pass revocation. Follow the Skier's Responsibility Code at all times.
