Banff Norquay is a premier downhill skiing destination in Alberta. With a vertical drop of 513m, it offers 90 runs, night skiing, beginner-friendly against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountain foothills, prairies, badlands.

Comment s'y rendre
From Red Deer, the drive is approximately 2-3 hours. GPS: 51.1°N, 115.9°W. Mountain roads — winter tires mandatory from October to April. Carry chains. Check road conditions before heading out in winter weather.

Large paved parking lots at the base area — free on weekdays, $10-20 on peak weekends. Overflow parking with shuttle service on busy days. RV overnight parking available with advance booking.

Vertical drop: 513m. The mountain features a mix of groomed runs, glades, bowls, and alpine terrain. Alpine bowls above treeline offer exposed, wind-affected skiing. The terrain park has features for all levels. Aspect: North-facing slopes hold snow longest. Base elevation: 1,500-2,500m.

Lift tickets or season passes required. Book online for best rates. Helmets strongly recommended (mandatory for children at most resorts). Respect all signage — closed areas are closed for safety reasons. Poaching closed terrain can result in pass revocation. Uphill travel policies vary — check with the resort before skinning up. Follow the Skier's Responsibility Code at all times.
