Sunshine Village is a world-renowned downhill skiing destination in Alberta. With a vertical drop of 1,160m, it offers 107 runs, high elevation, spring skiing against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountain foothills, prairies, badlands.
The resort caters to all ability levels with a good mix of beginner, intermediate, and expert terrain. Annual snowfall regularly exceeds 10 metres, ensuring a long and reliable season. Sunshine Village is the kind of place that turns a ski trip into a lifelong obsession.
Comment s'y rendre
From Red Deer, the drive is approximately 3-4 hours. GPS: 51.1°N, 115.5°W. Mountain roads — winter tires mandatory from October to April. Carry chains. Airport shuttle available from the nearest regional airport. Check road conditions before heading out in winter weather.

Large paved parking lots at the base area — free on weekdays, $10-20 on peak weekends. Overflow parking with shuttle service on busy days. Heated day lodge at the base with lockers, boot room, and washrooms. RV overnight parking available with advance booking.
